Last night, we launched our first three books of our Spring 2013 season to a rapt crowd – no one seemed to even notice the rain thundering down outside! In honour of poetry month, we featured our two outstanding poetry books: Allan Briesmaster’s Against the Flight of Spring, and Susan L. Helwig’s And the cat says… We were also lucky enough to have in attendance author Joyce Grant-Smith, all the way from Nova Scotia, to read from her novella, Oatcakes and Courage.
