A.F. Moritz

A.F. Moritz was born in Niles, Ohio in 1947 and educated at Marquette University. He is a recepient of the Guggenheim Fellowship and is one of Canada’s most celebrated contemporary poets. Moritz has published over fifteen books of poetry and has received many accolades for his works. These include a Canada Council Fellowship, a ReLit Award and the prestigious Griffin Poetry Prize in 2009. Moritz is also a recent nominee of the Governor General’s Award for Poetry in English. He currently lives in Toronto and teaches at Victoria College, University of Toronto.
